The Port of La Guaira is located in the Central North Coast region of Venezuela, in the state of Vargas, only 35 kilometers (21 miles) from the capital Caracas and 12 kilometers (7 miles) from the country’s main airport. The port of La Guaira has an area of approximately 850,000 m², with a dock 4,339 meters long, 25 berths allowing drafts of up to 12.5 meters, and operational facilities 24 hours a day throughout the year. It also has a covered storage area of 136,721 m², 12 vertical silos, and 6 and 8 intersilo cells designed to store 13,092 metric tons of grain.
